Gear Lubricants

Huey Fluids offers a number of gear lubricants that are either food grade or non-food grade. The food grade lubricants are offered in two different classes, insoluble in water or soluble in water.

Plurasafe® Insure^TM Water Insoluble Lubricants are as follows:

Plurasafe® Insure^TM WI 155, 225, and 325. The number corresponds to the ISO viscosity grades.

These meet the FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 for applications where incidental food contact may occur.

These products are registered with the NSF under H-1 classification.

Suitable for bearing oil and hydraulic fluid (hydraulic fluid is created by blending with rolling fluid)

Plurasafe® WS 100 GL and 200 GL

Plurasafe® WS 100 Gear Oil are Industrial Grade Gear lubricants for extreme pressure applications where medium to heavy load on gears is expected. The 100 and 200 indicate the two ISO viscosity grades that are available. These two lubricants can be used in all types of gearboxes with high loadings. They are also suitable as a bearing oil for medium to high load carrying bearings.

For use in cold area manufacturing where freezing points can be as low as -50°F.

For use in high temperature areas where it can reach 224°F.

High degree of thermal and oxidative stability.

This product offers improved performance over conventional petroleum oils and other hydrocarbon based synthetic food grade lubricants. This product has excellent lubricity and a high viscosity index (187)
